By joining Support Carers, you will be making a real difference to someone’s life, and bringing much-needed support to their families and friends.
Recent events across our country (and the world) have highlighted the importance of our care system and the many people that rely and depend on the support of care givers. It has also highlighted the importance of having a rewarding and fulfilling job that makes a positive change.
If you believe that all elderly and vulnerable people need a friendly carer that makes them feel valued, respected, safe, and comfortable, then you sound like a great fit for Support Carers.
We offer full learning and training for potential carers and, as we are a local care provider, this is on a much more personal and interactive level that ensures we work alongside each other rather than just ‘teach’ you.
We look for the following characteristics for our care givers:
• Genuinely caring, empathetic and compassionate
• Positive attitude
• Responsible and able to work unsupervised
• Hold a driving licence and have access to a car
• Ability to follow instructions
• Good spoken and written English
• QCF Diploma Level 2 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) is beneficial but not essential
• Previous experience of care is beneficial but not essential
Our core values are important to us, and we believe that having a strong team of care givers is essential for providing the best possible care and support to our clients. If this sounds like a team you’d like to be part of, please email your CV and a cover letter to info@supportcarers.co.uk
